The Las Vegas Speedway hosts Glittering Lights – A Drive-Thru Lights Show from November 7 through January 4, 2026.

If you don’t want to drive your own car – or don’t have a rental car while visiting Las Vegas – you can ride the Santa Tram, an outdoor open-air tram. You can also meet Santa, play games, enjoy hot cocoa and kettle corn, and more.

Named one of the “Best places to see Christmas lights in the U.S.” by CNN Travel, Glittering Lights is one of the most popular Las Vegas Christmas activities.

Families can stroll through the garden, sip hot chocolate, and even take photos with Santa on select nights.

Every evening from November 6 through January 3, 2026, the Ethel M Chocolate Factory Cactus Garden will be decked out with colorful lights, animated figures, and other holiday decor.

The Magical Forest at Opportunity Village

A long-standing Las Vegas holiday tradition, the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village is a festive and family-friendly 2.5-acre theme park filled with sparkling lights, decorated trees, rides, a round of 8-hole golf surrounded by sparkling lights, nightly entertainment, holiday treats, and midway games. Kids will love riding the train, carousel, and enjoying interactive attractions.

The Magical Forest is not only a fun holiday destination but also supports Opportunity Village, a nonprofit that serves people with disabilities in Southern Nevada. It runs from late November through December 31.

The seasonal décor in the indoor atrium makes the season merry and bright with its winter wonderland display. It features festive décor and a holiday laser light show set to classics like “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and “Frosty the Snowman.” The laser light show runs every hour between 4 and 10 p.m. Mystic Falls’ indoor location makes it a great option for families looking to enjoy Christmas lights and holiday fun without the cold.

Mystic Falls is totally free to enter and is open 24 hours a day. The holiday display runs nightly from November 27 through January 1, 2026.

Boulder City’s Holiday House Displays & Events

Boulder City’s famous Christmas House.

Just outside Las Vegas, Boulder City has a strong small-town holiday spirit. Every December, local residents decorate their homes with elaborate light displays. You’ll also find a number of scheduled community events to enjoy at Christmastime.

  • Christmas House (1525 Fifth Street) – The famous Christmas House lighting is set for December 6, 2025 at 5:15 pm. Expect Santa, photo ops, and festive decorations. The house is lit nightly (weather permitting) from about 5 to 9 p.m.

  • Santa’s Electric Light Parade – Downtown Boulder City’s holiday parade returns on December 7, 2025 at 4:30 p.m., featuring floats, music, and plenty of holiday cheer.

Because the lighting displays are by individual homeowners, the exact timing can vary, but these scheduled events are reliable anchor points for planning a visit.

Henderson’s WinterFest & Water Street Celebrations

The Water Street District in Henderson offers a festive anchor for holiday lights, decorations, and community events as part of WinterFest 2025. These provide a chance to see both organized events and general holiday lighting throughout a decorated neighborhood area.

  • Tree Lighting Ceremony & Drone Show – Thursday, December 4, 2025, 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Water Street Plaza.

  • Electric Light Parade — “Illuminate the Night” – Friday, December 5, 2025, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. along Water Street in downtown Henderson.

This event definitely has a small-town feel and is more of a community event, drawing many local families, but visitors are welcome to attend. And if you can’t make it for the events, the decorated shops, buildings, and holiday lights in the district will be up through the season.
