Looking for a current list of all Disney California Adventure rides?
You’ll find it right here!
There have been many changes to the attractions and rides at Disney California Adventure Park over the years, and lots more on the way. Construction has already started on some of the new additions to the park, including a new land, expansion of Avengers Campus, and a new Coco-themed ride.
We are keeping tabs on everything and will keep this list of rides at Disney California Adventure up to date!
My family has visited DCA at the Disneyland Resort many times. I mean, we’re probably talking triple digits! And while people often ask if California Adventure is worth visiting, I will always advocate for this gem of a park.

This ride has several iterations. Before it changed back to Soarin’ Over California in February 2026, it was updated to just Soarin’ to match its counterpart at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT theme park in Florida.
This summer at the Disneyland Resort, a new version will be introduced! Entertainment at DCA
This guide is focused on Disney California Adventure rides, but I thought it would be good to at least briefly mention entertainment at the park.
Disney has gotten a bit of slack the last couple of years for doing away with shows and live performances. For example, the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure Park sits empty most of the year. Indeed, I have found that shows at the Disneyland Resort are not nearly as robust as at other Southern California theme parks (like Knott’s Berry Farm, for example), but there is plenty of other good stuff to enjoy.
Here’s a very quick round-up of entertainment offerings at Disney California Adventure.
Street Entertainment

Disney California Adventure features awesome street performers and atmosphere entertainment throughout the park, including the Grammy award-winning Mariachi Divas, Citizens of Buena Vista Street, Five & Dime, Warriors of Wakanda, and Avengers Assemble!
World of Color
World of Color is a 25-minute nighttime water and light show over Paradise Bay. Lasers electrify the night and perfectly timed pyrotechnics explode in a blaze of brilliant color. Scenes and music from Disney and Pixar films are projected onto a grand fountain spraying 19,000-square-feet of water.
Currently, the show is called “World of Color – Happiness!” features scenes from Encanto, Turning Red, and Inside Out. This is a tie-in with the Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary.
Character Greetings
If you have little kids, meeting their favorite Disney and Pixar characters likely is at the top of your list. Luckily, Disney California Adventure has numerous spots where you can meet the characters. Check your Disneyland app (more on that later) or guide for times and exact locations to meet these characters:
- Buena Vista Street – Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck
- Grizzly Peak – Chip and Dale
- Pixar Pier – The Incredibles, Woody, Buzz, and Jessie
- Cars Land – Mater, Lightening McQueen, and Red
- Avengers Campus – Spiderman and all your favorite Super Heroes
Parades at DCA
Disney California Adventure is home to many parades throughout the year. Many are temporary and only last a few weeks.
Some family favorite parades include Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession and the Frightfully Fun Parade, which returns each fall exclusively at the Oogie Boogie Bash.
Paradise Garden Bandstand
Enjoy lunch or dinner and a show at the Paradise Garden Bandstand. The photo above was from a great mariachi performance during the Plaza de la Familia celebration at DCA last year!
A rotating lineup of musical acts perform daily. Check Disneyland’s Entertainment Schedule for upcoming performances.
