If you’re looking for a fun, centrally located place to stay in Lake Havasu City, it’s hard to beat the London Bridge Resort.
Set beside the famous London Bridge, the resort features 122 studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites with spacious living areas and nine different layouts. Its unbeatable location – combined with family-friendly amenities and easy access to the area’s top attractions – makes London Bridge Resort a top place to stay in Lake Havasu City.
I recently spent three amazing days exploring Lake Havasu and everything this resort has to offer. Here is an honest review of London Bridge Resort and everything you need to know about staying at this hotel.
London Bridge Resort At-A-Glance
- Prime location on the water adjacent to London Bridge
- 122 spacious suites
- Three pools, a hot tub, and 94-foot waterslide
- Tennis courts
- Golf course
- Numerous onsite activities
- Several on-site restaurants

The Resort
Location is everything, and London Bridge Resort truly delivers.
The resort sits on the Bridgewater Channel, directly beside the iconic London Bridge and just steps away from shops, restaurants, and waterfront activities.

The building features an English Tudor-style façade, which sets the tone for your stay as soon as you pull into the parking lot.
Because London Bridge was literally built in the city of London in the early 1800s and relocated to this spot in Arizona in 1971, the entire area embraces the Old English theme. In fact, London Bridge Resort is located next to the English Village, where you’ll find Lake Havasu City’s Visitor Information Center and plenty of shops and restaurants sporting the same design.

The theme absolutely continues inside the building. The first thing I saw upon entering the lobby was a replica of the Gold State Coach used by English royalty on special occasions. It literally takes up most of the space!
Behind the check-in counter, there is a stunning piece of original woodwork that has stood the test of time, preserved over decades and through many hotel renovations.

These historic pieces in the lobby let you know – this is no ordinary resort!
Outside, the property features winding walkways, fountains, and manicured grounds. There is a pathway that leads past the pool and down to the waterfront.
Rooms at London Bridge Resort: Spacious Suites Perfect for Families
One of the biggest perks of the London Bridge Resort is that every room is a suite. Options include studios (there are just a handful), one-bedroom, or two-bedroom units. Each one includes a living areas, kitchenettes, and private balcony – many with views of London Bridge and the water!

We stayed in a one-bedroom resort suite with a “mountain view,” which was located on the opposite side of the building from the river and actually mainly overlooked the parking lot. However, the patio was a really nice size and had two doors – one from the bedroom and one from the living area, so no complaints.

The kitchen was fully equipped. It was great having a big refrigerator to store drinks and leftovers, and a microwave to heat them up. I also loved the big bathroom with a separate tub and shower. I didn’t get to use the tub, but if you are visiting with kids, it will definitely come in handy!
If you stay in a suite on the upper floor, you’ll have access to a private rooftop deck in addition to the balcony, reached via a cool spiral staircase in the living area.

While some decor found in the suites may feel slightly dated, the size and functionality of these accommodations make them a great choice for families. It’s also great to have room to spread out if you are planning on a longer stay.
Amenities & Recreation
One of the things that makes this resort so unique and family-friendly is its wide array of activities.

The resort features multiple pools, including a family-friendly main pool and a more relaxed adults-only option located on-property at Kokomo Beach Club. The main pool area features a fantastic 94-foot waterslide and plenty of lounge chairs to relax.
There are also plenty of events and live entertainment you can enjoy, plus games and plenty of on-site activities. During the week we were there, they were promoting a live comedy show.

Amenities at London Bridge Resort include:
- Multiple pools and hot tubs
- Paddleboard and bike rentals
- Easy access to Sunset Charter & Tour Co. – Lake Havasu’s #1 boat tour company specializing in excursions focused on the natural beauty of the Colorado River Valley, it’s wildlife, and the history of the London Bridge and Lake Havasu City
- Guided tours to nearby Oatman, an old Arizona mining town
- Bridgewater Links Golf Course – the resort’s exclusive nine-hole golf course right along the channel river walk
- Easy access to the beach and Rotary Community Park
- Waterfront dining

Dining Options
Speaking of dining, London Bridge Resort offers a variety of dining options. It is actually home to some of the best restaurants in Lake Havasu City!

On-site restaurants at the resort include:
- Martini Bay – A family-friendly, upscale dining experience with a fun, modern twist. They specialize in seafood and steaks, and have wonderful cocktails and a long list of shareable appetizers.
- Kokomo Beach Club – A lively spot, especially on busy weekends, where you can enjoy drinks and bar bites overlooking the pool and waterfront.

And don’t forget, London Bridge Resort is located within easy walking distance of several other popular restaurants, giving you plenty of variety without needing to drive.
Two of our favorites – both located adjacent to the resort – are:
- Roxy’s Beach Bar & Café – The best spot in town for breakfast or lunch with a view. The patio at Roxy’s directly overlooks London Bridge, and the food is amazing too!
- Papa Leone’s Pizza – A casual spot for pizza, pasta, salads, and more. You can also pick up or have food delivered to your room.

Final Thoughts: London Bridge Resort
For a fun and convenient stay on the river with an ideal location close to all the fun things to do in Lake Havasu City, the London Bridge Resort checks all the boxes. If your goal is to be in the center of everything Lake Havasu has to offer, London Bridge Resort is one of the best choices you can make.
