Located in the heart of Sonoma’s wine country, just 52 miles north of San Francisco, the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country offers a unique boutique hotel experience. The hotel just debuted its complete rebrand and redesign, as well as the opening of a new Brasserie restaurant.
Wine Country Retreat
Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country is set along a beautifully designed creek walk in the historic Railroad Square district of downtown Santa Rosa.
Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country recently completed a redesign, revealing a rustic chic sanctuary set on eight acres. Renovations include the addition of 90 guest rooms and a complete redesign of 40,000 square feet of event space, the lobby, and all other public areas. The Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country was recently rebranded from a Hyatt hotel.
As its name suggests, the hotel is located within 20 minutes of more than 200 Sonoma wineries, including some that are among California’s family-friendly wineries. It is also just steps from downtown Santa Rosa, where boutiques, antique shops, wine bars, tasting rooms, and dozens of unique restaurants await. After a day of wine tasting, the Hyatt Regency is the perfect home base for a relaxing evening!
Beautiful New Design
A chic retreat, Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country brings a casually elegant and local-inspired destination to wine country. The hotel’s new design features earthy colors and textures and natural accents. The lobby showcases timeless interior design with handcrafted details, rustic touches and eclectic layering of wood tones, brushed metals and woven textures. The guest rooms combine soft gold and cream colors intended to represent “the splendor and comfort of the autumn countryside.”
Outside, guests can relax poolside under a grapevine covered arbor, sip wine under the stars beside a 10-foot crystal fire pit or enjoy the manicured floral gardens.
Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country Rooms
While the hotel’s redesign added 90 guest rooms, all of the rooms have been upgraded and transformed. Room options include suites or rooms with a king or two queen beds (perfect for families!). Many include private patios or balconies, where you can enjoy a view of the Santa Rosa Creek, courtyard, garden or pool area.
A flat-screen TV, desk and a seating area are provided in each room at Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country. Rooms include an iHome stereo system and an iPod docking. A coffee maker is also included in each room.
Dining at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country
Culinary experiences include the Lobby Lounge, which serves coffee and pastries in the morning. Starting at 4 p.m. daily, Happy Hour features cocktails, beer and wine from local wineries. The bar is adjacent to the hotel’s outdoor courtyard, perfect for sipping a glass of wine under the stars.
Slated for late October, the hotel’s new Brasserie restaurant will initially open for breakfast, Happy Hour and dinner. Breakfast will feature an extensive buffet in addition to a la carte offerings, while the dinner menu will include appetizers, shared plates and select entrees.
