There’s an argument to be made for staying at a business hotel with your family. For one thing, they are really nice and the service is excellent. For another thing, you can get rooms at a super discounted rate if you time it right. Because of this, the Sheraton Grand Phoenix is an excellent choice if you are visiting Phoenix, Arizona with kids for the weekend.
Family-Friendly Phoenix Hotel
On a recent visit to Arizona, I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix. It is a beautiful, 4-star hotel, located right downtown, with a plethora of amenities and wonderfully attentive staff. But because it was a weeknight and there was a major conference at the adjacent Phoenix Convention Center, rooms topped $300 a night. If I had come just a few nights later and stayed over the weekend, that same room would have been just $84.
That’s the thing about business hotels. Their occupancy rates dip on the weekends and holidays, so if you are traveling with kids and can visit on the weekend, you can get amazing deals! Plus, this hotel is very family-friendly, so even though it caters mainly to business travelers there is no reason you can’t enjoy a stay here with your family!
