Eataly Las Vegas Review
Comprised of more than a dozen authentic Italian eateries and hundreds of high-quality products, Eataly is an Italian marketplace where you can eat, sip, shop, watch and learn. We have visited many times since it opened in Vegas in 2018, and I’m excited to share all the intel we’ve gathered.
Located right on Las Vegas Boulevard at the Park MGM, Eataly is an easy walk from most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. This 40,000-square-foot culinary destination has numerous options for finding your Italian food bliss. (I found mine in a bowl of pasta!) There are also tastings, tours and cooking classes and demonstrations.
Is Eataly Las Vegas Family-Friendly?
The short answer is yes – kids are welcome here! Eataly Las Vegas is a casual marketplace that is very family-friendly.
Stepping inside Eataly is like being transported to another world â one with pasta, cheese, wine, gelato and pizza. All the products are from sustainable Italian and local producers. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so you can relax and sample the goods.
Even though there is an entrance to Eataly Las Vegas right from the casino at Park MGM, the venue is completely kid-friendly! We saw plenty of children eating gelatos and marveling at the sight of cheese being made. Everything on the Eataly menu is made fresh, and there are plenty of healthy options, too!
Dining at Eataly
From the moment you approach the entrance on Las Vegas Boulevard, Italian music sets the tone for the adventure that awaits.
Inside, the venue bustles with crowds checking out the menus and ordering street food and Italian specialties. Many booth also offer complimentary tastings. Itâs a fun and lively atmosphere!
There are more than a dozen casual food stands and cafes inside Eataly. The Eataly Las Vegas menu incudes La Pizzeria for handcrafted Neapolitan pizza, Mozzarella Bar (hand-pulled daily), La Pescheria for seafood, and La Pasta Fresca for house-made fresh pasta.
Our absolute favorite place inside Eataly Las Vegas is La Pasta Fresca. One of six counters at Cucina del Mercato – or “Kitchen of the Market” – you can enjoy freshly handmade pasta paired with an amazing selection of sauces and cheese.
For desserts and quick bites, choose from Il Gelato, Lavazza Caffé for Italian coffee and espresso, I Cannoli Siciliani, and the ever-popular Nutella counter, which serves crepes, cookies, croissants, and other treats drizzled with the famous Nutella hazelnut-chocolate spread. This is the perfect place to share!
Even if you only have time to make Eataly a quick stop as you mosey down Las Vegas Boulevard on foot, there are take-out windows where you can walk up and grab a piece of pizza or a cappuccino to go. Eataly Las Vegas also has three bars.
Offerings change often, so be sure to check the website for the latest Eataly Las Vegas menu options. Check out the Eataly menu online.
Restaurants at Eataly Las Vegas
If you prefer a full-service sit-down restaurant, there are three at Eataly â Manzo, Gran Caffe Milano and La Pizza e La Pasta Ristorante.
Manzo is an upscale butcherâs restaurant with an Italian wood-burning grill. They serve prime meat cuts and seasonal specials. La Pizza e La Pasta Ristorante â as its name suggests â serves fresh homemade pasta and pizzas. Gran Caffe Milano is more of a bar, but serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well.
Reservations are recommended, as tables fill up fast. On the day I was there, there was a long line of people waiting to be seated at La Pizza e La Pasta Ristorante.
Gift Shop & Market
One of the fun things about Eataly Las Vegas is that besides eating, you can explore and shop!
Eataly goes way beyond being an Italian restaurant; it offers a variety of premium groceries such as bread, meats, prime rib, cheeses and fresh seafood. There are also quality food imports from Italy, including pasta, jarred sauce and extra virgin olive oil.
The Gift Shop & Market also sells books, housewares and Italian wine in their wine shop. Itâs a little pricey, but totally worth it if you love authentic Italian cooking or want to bring home a unique souvenir.
The History of Eataly
Eataly Las Vegas marks the sixth U.S. location of the Italy-based company, which has more than 35 locations worldwide. The original idea behind Eataly is simple: to gather all of the high-quality Italian food and drink under one roof where you can eat, shop, and learn.
Founder Oscar Farinetti first envisioned the Eataly concept in 2002, and after five years of researching and planning, opened the first store in Torino, Italy, in January 2007.
In 2010, Eataly opened its first store in the U.S. in New York City’s Flatiron district. Since then, it has expanded throughout the U.S. with two locations in New York City, one in Chicago, one in Boston, one in Los Angeles, and now one in Las Vegas.
Today, there are roughly 37 Eataly locations around the world, with the majority concentrated in Italy. The Italian stores include Torino, Milano, Rome, Genova, Bari among other Italian cities. Other worldwide locations include Eataly USA, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Turkey, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Russia, Germany and Sweden.
Eataly Las Vegas is located at 3770 South Las Vegas Blvd, at the Park MGM.
